International Journal of Management Research and Social Science (IJMRSS) as a high standard Journal, follows very strict and rigid ethical standards to ensure scholarly integrity in a responsible manner, to encourage and maintain the contributions for public benefit and the development of research. IJMRSS is striving to follow the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Plagiarism and research fabrication such as making up of data, and manipulation of existing information, table and figures, and ethical clearance on the use of humans or animals for the study will also be checked. IJMRSS reserves the right to remove any article at any time, if it is identified as malpractice or not in accordance with publication ethics. IJMRSS uses plagiarism detecting software to scrutinize manuscripts at any time and duplicate publishing and plagiarism suspecting will be reported.
Authorship
An individual who has made considerable academic, scientific or research contribution to the society, for example, one who contributes significantly, to the conception, analysis, design, implementation, data interpretation, drafting, reviewing or revising the manuscript for scholarly content and approves the manuscript to be published.
Corresponding Author
In case, more than one author is there in an article, one author should be designated as the Corresponding Author and whose name is mentioned with superscript hash symbol and one (*1) in article. The corresponding author presumes overall accountability for the article, providing significant contribution to the research work. He or she may not necessarily be the research guide, project leader or principal investigator of the work.
Co-authors
In case of multiple authors, the authors other than corresponding author are considered as co-authors. All co-authors of an article are liable for providing consent authorship to the corresponding author. They should have significant contribution in the work and also responsible for appropriate portions of the content. The authorship states that they have reviewed and approved the manuscript and are responsible for all appropriate contents of the article including the integrity of any applicable research.
If the Author(s) desired, they can acknowledge any one who contributed to the work but do not fit the criteria for Author. They can acknowledge those people who helped in research work, such as editorial assistants, data providers, office staffs, medical writers, or other individuals in their acknowledgement. Guest or Ghost authors are conflicting with the definition of authorship and are unacceptable.
Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest exists when judgement concerning the research or study, which is influenced by factors like personal relationship or financial gain. All author(s) are obligatory to disclose any personal, financial or other factors that may influence or be perceived to influence their work.
Responsibility of the Author(s)
To ensure timely review and publication, Author(s) should ensure the following points before the submission.
- Use IJMRSS Template for drafting the paper.
- Author(s) should maintain the ‘Structure of the Article’.
- The author(s) should present the result very clearly, honestly, and without fabrications, falsification or inappropriate data manipulations.
- The author(s) should strive to describe their methods clearly and unambiguously.
- Author(s) must send covering letter along with manuscript.
- The manuscript should be original.
- The article must not have been published elsewhere.
- The paper has not been plagiarised or copied in whole or part from any other document.
- The author(s) are responsible for language editing, spelling corrections and grammar checks before the submission of article.
- Other Authors, contributors or sources should be appropriately credited.
- If any financial support for the research work or project, that should be disclosed.
- The author(s) should oblige to notify the Editor and Reviewer, if any error or inaccuracy is discovered and co-operate with the Editor to correct the same.
Responsibility of the Editors
The Editor must ensure the following points for any manuscript submitted to IJMRSS.
- The submitted article should undergo preliminary review (by Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors / Editorial Members) and secondary review (double blind peer review by review committee) before the publication.
- All information related to the author(s) and submitted article are kept confidential prior to publishing.
- Prevent any conflict of interest between the Author(s), Reviewers and Editors.
Responsibility of the Reviewers
For the betterment of the research work, the Reviewer must ensure the following.
- Promptness in notifying the Editor about the Reviewer’s inability to review the manuscript.
- Complete the review of the article and provide suitable comments.
- Maintain the confidentiality about the manuscript obtained for review.
- Standards the objectivity preserved by reviewing the manuscripts objectively with clear views and supporting arguments without any personal criticism.
- Acknowledgement of sources.
- All references not cited by author(s) should be removed. All citations should be accompanied with any previously reported observation, derivation or argument.
- If any overlap of the reviewed manuscript with any other published paper, it must be intimated to the Editor.
Withdrawal of the Manuscript
Author(s) must abide by the following instruction.
- Withdrawal of an already confirmed article after the acceptance will attract a minimal article handling charge.

The author or authors of each article appearing in International Journal of Management Research and Social Science (IJMRSS) is solely responsible for the content thereof; neither IJMRSS nor its Editors or Publisher or anyone else involved in creating, producing or distribution assumes any liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided in the Journal, nor shall they be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of the use of International Journal of Management Research and Social Science.
Plagiarism
To maintain the integrity of the scientific record, the IJMRSS would like to ensure that all published articles are within the accepted level of plagiarism. The Journal uses widely accepted and very well plagiarism detected tool. All submitted papers to the Journal are initially subjected to plagiarism check.
In case, plagiarism is detected during review or editorial process, such articles will be rejected immediately and the Editor-in-Chief can also consider other steps depending upon the seriousness of the case. If the plagiarism is proven after the publication, such articles will be removed from our website and appropriate announcement will be placed in this regards.
Citation Manipulation
Citation manipulation refers to the publication of a manuscript initially to increase the number of citations of an author. Since this process is against IJMRSS ethical guidelines, we advice author(s) not to indulge in similar type of activities.
Redundant Publications
Redundant Publication refers to publishing the same intellectual material more than once by the author(s). If the same work has been submitted or published elsewhere, the article will not be considered for the review process.
Sanctions
In case of a complaint of misconduct IJMRSS will carry out an investigation based on publication ethics guidelines. All stakeholders will be given an opportunity to share their views on the matter. If the complaint raises valid concerns, the journal will implement sanctions on authors according to severity of the breach.
Article Retraction
The Editor-in-Chief’s decision is the final decision for all research publications. However, this decision is based on Review Report, Editorial Policies, Publication ethics including copyright, plagiarism and etc. It is important to retain the published articles as it is without any alteration. Manuscripts should be retracted if:
- Journal Editors have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of misconduct (e.g. data fabrication) or honest error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error)
- It uses fraudulent data, altered table or figure and correction in publication.
- The findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing, permission or justification (i.e. cases of redundant publication)
- It constitutes plagiarism.
- It reports unethical research.
- Bogus authorship.
